File Support (Partial)

If you enable the new Files toolkit, your AI agent will be able to download and upload files together with the Browser toolkit, as well as manage those files (list, delete, and rename). It's not considered full file support as the agent can't read/interpret those files yet, or generate its own files. But the file support will be expanded gradually, so keep Nelly updated.

To attach files to a prompt, you can either drag and drop them into the chat area, paste them into the prompt input, or select them from the file system using the "Attach files" button.

Each agent has its own folder where it stores all downloaded and uploaded files. The same folder is shared with the agent's sub-agents. You can open the folder by clicking the menu and then selecting "Open Files Folder".

This is just the beginning of Nelly's file support. Soon, your agents will also be able to read, interpret, and generate files, such as images and PDF documents.

To get you started, here are two examples of AI agents that use the new Files toolkit:

• A Receipt Assistant that downloads receipts/invoices from a vendor's website. Make sure to add your own vendors to the instructions of the agent.
• A PCBWay Assistant that can submit new PCBWay orders and check the status of existing orders
